If you wish to return or exchange your purchase, be aware that the return period starts from the day you receive your product. This policy covers new, clearance, open-box, refurbished, and pre-owned items. It applies to purchases from Best Buy, Best Buy Outlet, Pacific Sales, Pacific Sales® Outlet, Magnolia® Design Center, Best Buy Education, and Best Buy Business. For purchases made directly with a vendor in-store, the vendor's return policy will apply. Gather the purchases you want to return, along with the original contents and packaging.

Returned items must be in like-new condition. Returns may be denied for items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched, or missing significant components. Apparel must be unworn, unlaundered, and have the original tags attached to be eligible for return.
The following items cannot be returned after purchase: custom orders, personalized items, final sale products, non-subscription digital content (excluding Microsoft Office), codes or prepaid cards (including third-party gift cards and prepaid phone cards), vehicle replacement key fobs, memberships, trading cards (including Pokémon cards), products with a capacity of 300-watt hours or more, and plumbing supplies. Additionally, once opened, the following items are non-returnable: products that come into contact with bodily fluids, SIM kits, LEGO sets, completed services, delivered home standby generators, whole home backup systems, and consumable items.

With a few exceptions, they will issue a refund for returned items using the original payment method. Alternatively, you can opt to exchange the item for the same product if you prefer.
Before accepting delivery of your major appliance, carefully inspect it for any issues. If you find any problems, you have the right to refuse the delivery. After accepting the delivery (or if you transported the appliance yourself), promptly contact them to report any defects, damage, or other concerns.
For Standard members, the return period for most products is 15 days. In contrast, My Best Buy Plus™ and My Best Buy Total™ members have a more extended return period of 60 days for most products. However, for activatable devices (see disclosure), the return period is 14 days for both standard and My Best Buy Plus™ or My Best Buy Total™ members.
