Step 1:

  • To initiate the return, navigate to the ‘Order Details’ section on the ‘Purchase History’ page in your account. There you can start the return process by providing and selecting the appropriate detail.

  • Once you submit the return successfully, you will be provided with a barcode and return label to be used at the time of return.

  • Walmart offers you three methods to make the return. First, you can return the damaged products at the Walmart Store. To validate your warranty, you can either print the barcode displayed on the screen or show them the confirmation email you received.

Step 2:

  • Secondly, you can schedule a pick-up from the address where it was delivered initially. Alternatively, you can ship the products with the return label (which will be displayed on the screen) attached to your packages and drop them off either at FedEx or USPS center.

  • Walmart offers you one more option also. If your items are over-sized and become out of your control, please contact them. They will assist you with your returns.

  • If you have any confusion about making a return to Walmart, kindly read this article: Walmart Return Policy.

Step 3:

  • Walmart offers a diversified protection plan that comes with numerous benefits. So the company encourages you to purchase any of their plans to extend the lifespan of your products.

  • The products have been offered for a certain time period (90 days from the purchase date) with the option to return them.

  • The products/items purchased at Walmart U.S. stores, Walmart.com, Walmart Business, or from Marketplace sellers on the official website are covered by the return policy.

What is covered under the Walmart Warranty?

The protection plan of Walmart includes the mechanical and electrical failure of the products under normal use. This warranty also extends to the manufacturer’s defects. This warranty guarantees replacement with an equivalent one or monetary settlement if your products require three repairs within a 12-month period. As per this plan, the shipping charges to the authorized service centers during the plan coverage will be covered. The majority of Walmart products come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty. They have another warranty known as the Accident Plan that covers the drops or cracks on the screen, spills, liquid damages, and other things covered by standard plans.

What is NOT covered under the Walmart Warranty?

The warranty plan doesn’t cover normal wear, and tear, intentional damage, theft, collateral damage, exposure to weather extremes, electrical surges, improper equipment modifications, add-on-products, and natural disasters. The exclusion further covers damages resulting from negligence, misuse, unauthorized repairs, replacements, services, and cleaning methods, products, and materials. Furthermore, cosmetic damages and accidental damage do not fall under this warranty.
