Step 1:

  • To register your Xbox console or device, you must have a Microsoft account. If you don't already have one, you can create it here Product Registration. Once you've registered, enter your serial number and then click on "confirm."

  • Once you have successfully registered your device, sign in to the Device Services site using your Microsoft account credentials. Choose the specific device you wish to have repaired. Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize your service order request. Once Device Services has received your submission, they will provide you with a service order number and send you an order confirmation email. This email will also contain shipping or drop-off instructions for your convenience.

  • Please dispatch your device promptly. Failure to ship your device within 30 days of your request will result in the cancellation of your service order, rendering the shipping label no longer valid.

  • The refund can be made possible by clicking the refund link. You have various options, including subscriptions, hardware, games, and apps. You can choose any of these based on your preference.

  • Products that meet the criteria for a return, refund, or exchange include tangible items like Surface devices, Xbox controllers, virtual reality headsets, and packaged software.

Step 2:

  • Upon receipt of an eligible return, you can anticipate either a replacement shipment or a refund. For returns that meet the criteria, the full amount will be credited, with the deduction of the original shipping and handling charges.

  • Digital products such as apps, games, add-on content, subscriptions, movies, TV shows, and books are generally not eligible for returns. However, exceptions may apply if applicable laws permit a refund.

Step 3:

  • Have you missed your tracking number, questions about double charges, and EA FC 24? Please contact the Support Team of Xbox. A virtual agent, an automated support system, is accessible around the clock, 24/7.

  • You need to sign in to access their account, and disabled persons can contact them through the disability help desk.

What is covered under the Xbox Warranty?

This warranty stays in effect for one year from the date of your original purchase from Microsoft or an authorized retailer or reseller, and it is in addition to any legal rights you may have under local law. This Warranty is eligible to be claimed only in the United States and Canada. If Microsoft finds that the Microsoft Product malfunctioned during the warranty period under normal usage conditions because of a material or workmanship defect, Microsoft will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product or the faulty component. Alternatively, they may refund the purchase price upon return of the Microsoft Product, unless your local law mandates a different course of action. Your Microsoft Product will be protected by this Warranty for the longer of either the remaining duration of your original warranty period or 90 days after Microsoft ships it to you. This Warranty is applicable solely when your Microsoft Product is used in conjunction with the Microsoft operating system that was originally installed on your Microsoft Product, or with any concurrent or subsequent version of that operating system.
If you experience issues with your Xbox Series such as games crashing or freezing during Quick Resume, inability to adjust headset game audio or chat volume, or problems connecting to Wi-Fi, Xbox will repair or replace the console if troubleshooting steps do not resolve the problem.

What is NOT covered under the Xbox Warranty?

This warranty is not applicable to Microsoft Products that were not purchased directly from Microsoft or an authorized retailer or reseller. It also does not cover damage caused by the use of products, applications, or services that were not manufactured, licensed, or supplied by Microsoft. This includes games and accessories that were not manufactured or licensed by Microsoft, as well as "pirated" games. Additionally, the warranty does not cover Microsoft Products that have had their serial or IMEI numbers altered or removed, damage caused by external factors, damage resulting from usage contrary to the user manual or other provided instructions by Microsoft, damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than a Microsoft authorized service provider, cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or damage expected from normal wear and tear. Furthermore, it does not cover damage resulting from hacking, cracking, viruses, malware, or unauthorized access to services, accounts, computer systems, or networks. The warranty does not apply to Microsoft Products that have had their software or hardware modified with malicious code, malware, or other unauthorized mechanisms that alter their functionality. This warranty also excludes consumable parts that naturally degrade over time, such as reduced battery charging capacity at the end of its product life, unless the degradation occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. It does not apply to SIM cards or any cellular or network systems used by the Microsoft Product. Finally, this warranty does not cover any software distributed by Microsoft with the Microsoft Product. Microsoft cannot guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free use of Microsoft Products, nor can it guarantee the prevention of data loss.
