Vivint warranty plan does not cover defects that are due to consequential or incidental or damages; theft, loss, improper handling, misuse, improper installation, intentional damage, or customer negligence; operational failures due to Acts Of God like flood, fire, war, explosion, strike, terrorism, embargo, acts of the government, military authority, or the elements; enhancements or changes in texture, color, expansion, finish, contraction or any cosmetic damage to covered equipment however caused, including, but not limited to, scratches that do not affect the electrical or mechanical function; products with missing or altered serial number; services performed by unauthorized repair personnel; failing to follow Vivint’s instructions; introduction of foreign objects and any loss or damage to any operating system or data, including damage or loss as a result of any replacement or repair under this Plan.
