Schlage Lock Company LLC offers a warranty covering material and workmanship defects to the original consumer purchaser of Schlage-manufactured products, starting from the date of purchase by the original user.

What is NOT covered under the Schlage Warranty?

The provisions of the warranty do not cover certain costs, expenses, and damages, including but not limited to back charges or labor costs associated with the removal and reinstallation of the product or for regular maintenance; shipping and freight expenses for returning the product to Schlage; failures, defects, or damage (including security breaches, data loss, or failures caused by third-party products or services) attributable to the Original User, third parties, or third-party products, services, or systems connected or used in conjunction with the product; any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages, regardless of whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including strict liability or negligence), patent infringement, or any other legal theory, even if notified of the possibility of such damages; or normal wear and tear.
