Step 1:

  • Locate your IMEI number(s) by checking your device settings or the original packaging; this is a mandatory requirement for Unihertz to verify the authenticity of your product.

  • Gather your Proof of Purchase, specifically your online order number or a dated sales invoice that clearly describes the product and price paid.

  • Ensure your device is still within the coverage window and was purchased through an official channel, as the limited warranty is restricted to the original country of purchase.

Step 2:

  • Capture visible proof of the defect by taking clear, focused photos or videos under good lighting. Unihertz requires this documentation to identify and verify the issue from a close to medium distance.

  • Review the Warranty Exemptions to ensure your issue isn't related to non-quality factors, such as damage from falls, extreme temperatures, water exposure, or unauthorized third-party repairs.

  • If your device is eligible for a return, ensure it is in its original condition. For non-quality returns, the smartphone must be unused and in its original, unopened packaging.

Step 3:

  • Initiate your claim by contacting the Unihertz Support Team directly through their official website to provide your proof of purchase, IMEI, and visual evidence.

  • Once you receive prior authorization, follow the instructions for shipping the item back for quality inspection; note that return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

  • Maintain communication with the team during the troubleshooting and inspection process; for verified quality issues, the team will coordinate a replacement or repair and provide return shipping for the corrected item.
