The warranty covers any defects in material and workmanship starting from the original purchase date. ACCO Brands Australia Pty Ltd provides this warranty. ACCO Brands will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product if the defect is determined to result from faulty materials or workmanship, subject to the specified conditions in the warranty.
The warranty explicitly excludes coverage for any cosmetic damage, instances where the product's serial number is absent or not visible, as well as loss or damage resulting from factors beyond ACCO Brands' control. These external factors encompass damage or failure due to power fluctuations, overload, excessive heat, or humidity. The warranty is not applicable if the product has not been installed, operated, used, stored, and/or maintained in accordance with the provided instructions. Moreover, it does not cover damage or defects arising from unusual, abnormal, non-recommended, or negligent use, handling, or maintenance of the product. Unauthorized alterations or repairs by parties other than ACCO Brands, liability based on agreements with third parties, and normal wear and tear—including the deterioration of wearable components or consumables—are also expressly excluded from warranty coverage. This includes but is not limited to items such as baseboards, blades, cutters, cutting disks, cutting sticks, drill bits, feed wheels, fuses, light bulbs, manual punches, separators, slitters, and staple inserts.
