True Manufacturing has earned recognition as the foremost manufacturer of refrigerators and freezers for both residential and commercial use, catering specifically to the food service and soft drink industries on a global scale. The journey to this prominent position commenced in 1945 when Bob Trulaske, along with his father Frank and subsequently his brother Art, established a refrigeration company. This venture had its humble beginnings in their residence on Lenox Avenue in St. Louis. Originating from their garage, they successfully crafted the first 40 cu. ft. upright freezer available in the market.
