Trex Company, Inc. always warrants all the products manufactured and sold by them for a subject warranty period to the original end-user/purchaser when used and maintained normally in accordance with Trex’s written instructions. On that note, The product will be free from material and workmanship defects. In case of a defect, Trex at their sole discretion will replace or provide a proper refund according to the availability of the product and the degree of the defect. Replacement Products will be as close in color, design, and quality to the original Products as reasonably possible, in Trex’s discretion and determination, but Trex does not guarantee an exact match as colors and designs may change and Trex’s obligation as to replacement shall further be limited to replacement with the styles and colors of the Product that are available at the time of the replacement. The warranty always begins with the original date of purchase and is transferable only for one time within the first five years of the product purchase. In addition, they are not responsible for costs and expenses incurred with respect to the removal of the defective product or the installation of replacement materials, including but not limited to labor and freight and any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, reliance, statutory, special, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, lost profits, loss of use, loss of time, loss of revenues, inconvenience, loss of business opportunities, or damage to goodwill or reputation damages.
