TOTO never compels you to register, and it is entirely optional. Your limited warranty rights will remain unaffected even if you choose not to enroll your products. To have your limited warranty valid, proof of purchase is needed.
In order to avail of warranty repair service within the terms of the warranty, you are required to either transport the Product to a TOTO service facility at your own expense, providing proof of purchase (original sales receipt) along with a letter detailing the issue.
Alternatively, reach out to a TOTO distributor or products service contractor. Another option is to directly communicate the problem by writing to the office address.
TOTO will not impose charges for labor or parts related to warranty repairs or replacements. It's important to note that TOTO does not bear the responsibility for expenses associated with the removal, return, and/or re-installation of the product.
The warranty provides you with distinct legal entitlements. You may possess additional rights that differ based on your location, whether it be state to state, province to province, or country to country.

TOTO assures that its products are devoid of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use when appropriately installed and serviced, for a specified duration from the purchase date. The restricted warranty is exclusively offered to the initial purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty is applicable solely to TOTO products acquired and installed in North, Central, and South America.
1-year limited warranty on plumbing products
3-year limited warranty on electronic flush valves, faucets, and soap dispensers
Lifetime limited warranty on residential faucets, cast iron tubs, and bathroom accessories
The warranty does not cover damage or loss resulting from natural calamities such as fire, earthquake, flood, thunder, electrical storm, etc. It also excludes damage or loss caused by accidents, unreasonable use, misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper care, cleaning, or maintenance of the product. Additionally, damage or loss resulting from sediments or foreign matter in a water system is not covered. The warranty does not apply to damage or loss resulting from improper installation, installation in a harsh or hazardous environment, or improper removal, repair, or modification of the product. It is important to note that product model codes allow a maximum of 80 PSI, and local codes or standards should be checked for requirements. Furthermore, damage or loss resulting from electrical surges, lightning strikes, or other acts not attributed to TOTO or not specified for the product's tolerance is excluded. Normal wear and tear, such as gloss reduction, scratching, or fading over time due to use, cleaning practices, or water or atmospheric conditions, are not covered. This includes the use of bleach, alkali, acid cleaners, dry (powder) cleaners, or any other abrasive cleaners, as well as the use of metal or nylon scrubbers. Lastly, using the product in a manner inconsistent with the product instructions or owner's manual is not covered by the warranty.
