TomTom provides a limited warranty ensuring that the Product, acquired either directly from TomTom or through a Reseller, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of two years from the date of purchase or until the date you breach any of these Terms and Conditions, whichever is the shorter duration. Within this timeframe, TomTom, at its sole discretion, will either repair or replace the Product without charge for parts or labor. Furthermore, TomTom will cover the transport and/or shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement. If the Product is repaired after the expiration of this period, the repair warranty will conclude six months after the date of repair. It's important to note that this limited warranty is not transferable.
The limited warranty excludes damage resulting from normal wear and tear, unauthorized opening or repair by non-TomTom authorized personnel. It also does not cover damage caused by misuse, exposure to moisture, liquids, proximity, heat, accidents, abuse, non-compliance with supplied instructions, neglect, or misapplication. Physical damage to the Product's surface is not covered by the limited warranty. Additionally, it does not extend to cover any Services, Apps, User Contributed Data, or Third Party Material associated with or installed on the Product, obtained through Services, Apps, or TomTom Websites. Installation, removal, or maintenance costs of the Product are also not covered by the limited warranty.
