What is covered under the Tineco Warranty?

Tineco stands behind its products, offering a warranty that safeguards against original defects in material and workmanship when used for residential purposes, provided you adhere to the Tineco instruction manuals. With this warranty, you won't incur any additional expenses; it covers all necessary labor and parts to ensure your appliance functions correctly during the warranty period. It's important to note that this warranty is only valid when the appliance is used in the country where it was originally sold. For quality-related warranty claims arising from purchases through Tineco's authorized distributors and retailers, Tineco takes care of the process. In the case of quality-related warranty claims, items will be replaced with a factory-refurbished model of equal value, whenever available; otherwise, a new item will be dispatched to you.

What is NOT covered under the Tineco Warranty?

The warranty specifically excludes coverage for various circumstances that may lead to costs, damages, or repairs. These exclusions encompass appliances purchased from unauthorized dealers, instances of improper operation, mishandling, misuse, or neglect, as well as failure to adhere to the Tineco Instruction Manuals. The warranty also does not extend to cases where the appliance is used for purposes other than standard domestic use, such as for commercial or rental purposes, or if non-Tineco-approved parts and accessories are utilized. External factors beyond the control of product quality and usage, such as weather conditions, modifications, accidents, electrical outages, power surges, or acts of nature, fall outside the warranty's coverage. Additionally, any repairs or alterations conducted by unauthorized parties or agents are not covered. Furthermore, neglecting to clear blockages and hazardous materials from the appliance is not included. Normal wear and tear, which includes standard wearing parts like the clear bin, belt, filter, HEPA filter, brush bar, and power cord, is excluded from warranty claims. This extends to cases where external damage or abuse is evident or when carpet or floor damage results from failing to comply with the manufacturer's instructions or neglecting to deactivate the brush bar when necessary. Finally, a reduction in battery discharge time due to battery aging or usage is not covered by the warranty.
