What is covered under the Dacor Warranty?

The warranty provided by Dacor covers Dacor appliances, which applies to the initial purchaser, starting from the date of the original retail purchase or the closing date for new construction, whichever duration is longer. This warranty is applicable to products purchased brand new from a Dacor Authorized Dealer or another seller authorized by Dacor. If your Dacor product experiences a malfunction within one year from the original purchase date due to a defect in material or workmanship, Dacor will address the issue without any cost to you. Any cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches on stainless steel, paint or porcelain blemishes, etc.) to the product or included accessories must be reported to Dacor within 60 days of the original purchase date to be eligible for warranty coverage.

What is NOT covered under the Dacor Warranty?

The warranty does not cover certain aspects, including slight color variations resulting from factors such as painted parts, kitchen lighting, and product placement. This warranty also excludes service calls for customer education on product use and care, service fees for travel to islands and remote areas, consequential or incidental damage like food or medicine loss, or commercial, business, rental, or non-residential use of the product. Additionally, the warranty does not extend to failures due to improper product installation, replacement of house fuses, or damage from accidents, fires, floods, power interruptions, power surges, or other uncontrollable events. It also does not hold the manufacturer liable for damage to surrounding property, including cabinetry, floors, ceilings, and other structures around the product. Furthermore, breakage, discoloration, or damage to components like glass, metal surfaces, plastic parts, trim, paint, or other cosmetic finishes caused by improper usage, neglect, or abuse are not covered. The warranty becomes void if a non-ETL or non-CUL-approved product is transported from the U.S.A. Consumable parts such as filters and light bulbs are not included in the warranty and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
