What is covered under the TECO Appliances Warranty?

TECO provides a warranty ensuring that your product will be free from defective workmanship and materials for the specified Warranty Period. According to the terms outlined in this warranty, TECO will undertake the repair of defective parts at no additional cost, replacing them with new or serviceable parts that match the performance of new components. The commencement of the warranty period is marked by the date on the sales receipt, which serves as proof of purchase. If the product is replaced under this warranty, the replacement product will adhere to the warranty terms and the commencement date of the original product. It's important to note that this warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner, contingent upon TECO being informed in writing within a reasonable time of the product transfer. This notification should include the subsequent owner's name and contact details. The terms of this warranty remain unchanged by the transfer of this warranty.

What is NOT covered under the TECO Appliances Warranty?

The warranty does not cover excluded damages. A claim made under this warranty may face refusal if the alleged defect arises from causes other than faulty or defective parts or workmanship. Various circumstances leading to the declination of a warranty claim include but are not limited to, damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse, failure to properly maintain or service, incorrect or improper operation (deviating from the operating instructions outlined in the Product Operation Manual), incomplete or improper installation, failure to clean or improper cleaning of the product, incorrect voltage or use of unauthorized batteries or charging units, non-authorized or non-standard parts, incidents such as theft, fire, food or liquid spills, immersion in liquid, vermin or insect infestation, repairs conducted by entities other than ASP, relocation of air conditioner products, and vibrations or other effects experienced while in mobile accommodation like caravans, mobile homes, or boats. Additionally, there are other warranty exclusions that this warranty does not cover. These include consumables, products lacking the original serial number at the time of the claim (such as when the serial number has been removed or defaced), products purchased in an auction or from sources other than an Authorized Reseller, loss of any data, for which you are responsible for backing up and protecting against loss, damage, or destruction, deterioration or weathering to paintwork, metalwork, or trims caused by normal weathering or corrosive atmospheric conditions, and faults or substandard performance resulting from the operation of any air conditioner product when used for applications other than the climatic comfort of humans.
