What is covered under the Chef Appliances Warranty?

The warranty is applicable to new appliances purchased and used in Australia or New Zealand. Throughout the warranty period, Electrolux or its authorized service center (ASC) will, at no additional cost, repair or replace any parts deemed defective, provided the appliance is readily accessible for service without special equipment. Electrolux reserves the right to choose between repair or replacement as the remedy for a valid warranty claim, and refurbished parts may be used for the repair. Electrolux covers the reasonable cost of transportation, travel, and delivery of the appliance to and from Electrolux or its ASC, with arrangements made as part of any valid warranty claim. A valid claim under this warranty requires proof of purchase.

What is NOT covered under the Chef Appliances Warranty?

The warranty does not cover light globes, batteries, filters, or similar perishable parts, as well as parts and appliances not supplied by Electrolux. Additionally, cosmetic damage that does not affect the operation of the appliance is excluded. Damage to the appliance caused by negligence or accident, misuse or abuse (including failure to properly maintain or service), improper, negligent, or faulty servicing or repair works performed by anyone other than an Electrolux authorized repairer or ASC, normal wear and tear, power surges, electrical storm damage, incorrect power supply, incomplete or improper installation, incorrect, improper, or inappropriate operation, insect or vermin infestation, and failure to comply with any additional instructions supplied with the appliance are also not covered by the warranty.
