Step 1:

  • Registration must be done initially for the warranty claim process. You have to provide your name, email, and serial number of the product in the registration form. When you register your product, it grants you access to special offers and customer appreciation programs.

  • Your warranty claiming process will be easy if you show your proof of purchase and return your product to Targus for the verification of warranty coverage. In case the products get damaged or lost during transportation, Targus will not be answerable for such incidents.

Step 2:

  • Targus accepts the products that did not satisfy you and when the products are returned within thirty days from the shipment date. Using the return portal, you can make a return request before returning the products.

  • The products bought from any third-party websites other than the official website of Targus cannot be returned to Targus. Instead of contacting them, you can directly get in touch with the place where you bought the products.

  • You will be notified about the refund being credited to your credit card statement within a period of 10 to 14 business days.

Step 3:

  • The customer service team has covered all topics. If you have any doubts about anything, feel free to reach out to them for resolution. They are available from Monday to Friday.

  • The means of contacting them are bifurcated into four types: Email, Live Chat, Online Q&A, and phone.

  • During the warranty process, Targus may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the 2 or 3-year limited warranty period.

What is covered under the Targus Warranty?

The limited warranty applies exclusively to the original end purchaser and is non-transferable. Targus warrants that the specified products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials during normal use for a designated duration. The beginning period of your warranty is the date of your original purchase.

What is NOT covered under the Targus Warranty?

The limited warranty does not extend to cover regular wear and tear resulting from product use. It excludes instances of misuse, neglect, mishandling, accidents, abuse, abnormal use, or events beyond human control, such as floods and earthquakes. The warranty is void if the product is used for purposes other than its intended function. Additionally, damage incurred through unauthorized repairs or maintenance, modifications, or alterations to the product are not covered. Lastly, any product not manufactured by Targus is not eligible for warranty coverage. The limited warranty excludes coverage for items acquired from third-party sellers on online sales auction platforms. Confirmations from online sales auctions are not considered valid for warranty verification.
