3 Simple Steps for Suunto Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • To have your Suunto products repaired, please visit the Suunto authorized service center or reach out to the customer support team members. You can also make use of both options for the warranty claim.

  • They require you to show the proof of purchase that may act as evidence. The general warranty terms are followed for any other or additional repairs to be performed. Suunto is not responsible for any delays in providing warranty service.

Step 2:

  • You are eligible to claim a full refund only when the given instructions on the return policy are followed meticulously. You have a period of 30 days from receiving the product to initiate the return process.

  • The form that is provided, especially for returns, requires you to provide the order ID and email, followed by a few more steps. The products in the original, undamaged packaging and in a not-used condition are accepted.

  • Packages that have been opened carefully will not be categorized as damaged. The timeframe for receiving your refund, which varies based on your chosen payment method, typically ranges from 2 to 5 working days.

Step 3:

  • The customer support team possesses extensive knowledge across various subjects and can be contacted through Facebook, Instagram, and X. They are available on weekdays during specific hours.

  • Seven business days are enough for them to complete the repair. You will be required to pay the amount for the products that do not fall under warranty. A request has to be made online for the repair procedure.

  • During the warranty process, Suunto may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.

What is covered under the Suunto Warranty?

Suunto promises that, during the Warranty Period, either Suunto or a Suunto Authorized Service Center will, at its discretion, address defects in materials or workmanship at no cost. This may involve a) repairing, b) replacing, or c) refunding the product, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this International Limited Warranty. The validity and enforceability of this warranty extend to all countries, unaffected by the country of purchase. It is important to note that this International Limited Warranty does not diminish your legal rights as granted by mandatory national laws applicable to the sale of consumer goods. Additionally, Suunto has extended the warranty for the Suunto Spartan Trainer to 24 months if the strap becomes detached from the case. Such specific repairs are covered under warranty and are managed at Suunto-authorized service centers.

  • 1-year limited warranty on accessories

  • 2-year limited warranty on Watches, Smart Watches, Dive Computers, Headphones, Heart Rate Transmitters, Dive Transmitters, Dive Mechanical Instruments, and Mechanical Precision Instruments

  • 5-year limited warranty on failures attributable to the depth measurement (pressure) sensor on Suunto Dive Computers

What is NOT covered under the Suunto Warranty?

The international limited warranty has certain exclusions, which encompass normal wear and tear such as scratches, abrasions, or alterations to the color and/or material of non-metallic straps; defects resulting from rough handling; and defects or damage caused by usage contrary to intended or recommended use, improper care, negligence, and accidents like dropping or crushing. Additionally, it excludes coverage for printed materials and packaging, defects or alleged defects arising from use with any product, accessory, software, and/or service not manufactured or supplied by Suunto, as well as non-rechargeable batteries. Suunto explicitly states that the warranty does not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product or accessory, nor does it ensure compatibility with any hardware or software provided by a third party. The enforceability of this International Limited Warranty is contingent upon specific conditions. It is not applicable if the product or accessory has been opened beyond intended use, repaired using unauthorized spare parts, modified or repaired by an unauthorized Service Center, if the serial number has been removed, altered, or made illegible at Suunto's sole discretion, or if the product has been exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to sunscreen and mosquito repellents.

About Suunto

Suunto Canada has a rich history dating back over 80 years when it was established by Tuomas Vohlonen, a Finnish adventurer. In 1936, faced with the challenges of existing technology amidst snowy landscapes and enduring the prolonged darkness of Arctic days, Vohlonen innovated by inventing a liquid-filled compass featuring a steadier and more accurate needle. This marked a revolutionary advancement, ensuring he was never lost in his explorations. Throughout the past eight decades, Suunto has dedicated itself to continuous learning and technological refinement. This commitment has empowered them to develop reliable products capable of withstanding even the most extreme conditions.
