What is covered under the Bang & Olufsen Warranty?

The warranty encompasses any defects related to the specifications of the Bang & Olufsen Product in question that may occur during the warranty period. This period begins upon the initial purchase by the first consumer and lasts for 24 months from that date. If a defect covered by the warranty arises within this timeframe and your Bang & Olufsen Product is eligible for online return, Bang & Olufsen guarantees that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the entire warranty period.

  • 24-month limited warranty on Beolit, Earphones, Headphones, and Earset for products purchased after, in, or before November 2019

What is NOT covered under the Bang & Olufsen Warranty?

The warranty explicitly excludes coverage for defects arising from improper use, unauthorized installation, incorrect repairs or modifications, maladjustment of the Bang & Olufsen product, negligence, and specific instances like "burn-in" of plasma or OLED displays, overdriving of speakers, and similar misuse. Additionally, defects resulting from the use of non-approved accessories with the Bang & Olufsen product, damage caused by lightning, fire, water, voltage fluctuations, improper ventilation, or other force majeure events beyond Bang & Olufsen's control are not covered. The warranty also does not extend to consequential damage, indirect or direct loss, or any associated expenses claimed under the warranty, including but not limited to losses incurred due to the inability to operate the Bang & Olufsen product.
