Sunpentown International Inc. provides a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring that its products are free from material and workmanship defects. Should a product be found defective within this warranty period, the original purchaser or any subsequent owner can return it to Sunpentown, along with proof of the purchase date. Sunpentown will repair or replace the defective product at its discretion, without any cost to the owner. Any replaced parts or units will be either new or reconditioned and will become Sunpentown's property. It's important to note that the warranty period, after repair or replacement, will not be extended beyond the original one-year period.
The warranty does not cover certain aspects, including freight charges, units used outside of the United States, damage resulting from installation errors, product abuse, or misuse. It also does not account for incidental or consequential damage caused by potential defects in the product. Any labor costs associated with the installation or removal of a potentially defective unit are not included. Moreover, the warranty does not extend to damage caused by improper power supply voltage, accidents, fires, floods, or acts of nature. Normal wear and tear on parts or the replacement of parts designed for regular replacement are not covered.
