What is covered under the Steelcase Furniture Warranty?

Steelcase Inc. assures that Steelcase®, Coalesse®, and Turnstone® brand products are devoid of defects in materials and workmanship for the expected normal lifespan of the product, except where specified otherwise. This warranty applies to Steelcase Branded Products delivered in the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. It is non-transferable and commences from the delivery date to the original end-user customer, which refers to the ultimate purchaser of a product from Steelcase or a Steelcase authorized reseller for personal use and not for resale, remarketing, or distribution purposes. In the event of any failure under normal use, Steelcase will, at its discretion and free of charge (for materials and components), repair or replace any product, part, or component with a comparable product.

What is NOT covered under the Steelcase Furniture Warranty?

The warranty does not cover instances of normal wear and tear, failure to adhere to published Steelcase or manufacturer instructions and guidelines regarding product application, installation, reconfiguration, or maintenance, as well as cases of abuse, misuse, or accidents, such as using the product in unsuitable environments or conditions. It also excludes alterations or modifications to the product, the use of unauthorized non-Steelcase components in place of Steelcase components in integrated product solutions, and consumables such as batteries or bulbs/lamps.
