What is covered under the Sommer Warranty?

Sommer’s limited warranty covers the claims only from the original purchaser and is claimable only for the initial installation of the product. Every product is covered under the claim in the specified warranty period. Any defects and problems arising in material or craftsmanship are repaired or replaced at their sole discretion. Make sure your claim is within the warranty period of the particular issue as the products have specified warranty period for parts and accessories and you are claiming in the same country of purchase. The other means can easily make the claim void.

What is NOT covered under the Sommer Warranty?

Sommer warranty plans have limitations on what is included in the claim. As per the plan, Any damage or defect that is due to damage in delivery; usage of the product in situations or circumstances that are not recommended by Sommer; improper or unauthorized repair or alteration; normal wear and tear; by non-original equipment manufacturer spare parts or components; improper care and maintenance; insufficient handling, storage, use & installation; erosion, corrosion, abrasion or similar causes; causes by anything that is beyond Sommer’s control including disaster and acts of God; accident or negligence are excluded in the claim. It also does not apply to the programming of any remote control devices and consumable/replaceable parts like batteries, LEDs and fuses.
