What is covered under the Snap-on Warranty?

Snap-on warranty policy applies to:

  • Snap-on and Blue-Point® brand products purchased from authorized Snap-on distribution channels are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser, with the duration specified by the warranty code for each product.
  • If a defect occurs within the warranty period, Snap-on will repair or replace the product at its discretion.
  • If the product continues to fail after repair or replacement, Snap-on will refund the purchase price or issue a credit equal to the amount paid for the product.
  • Repair, replacement, or refund is solely at Snap-on's discretion, and these are the exclusive remedies available to the customer.

What is NOT covered under the Snap-on Warranty?

Snap-on warranty does not apply to:

  • Snap-on does not accept warranty claims for products that are not labeled Snap-on or Blue-Point.
  • The warranty does not cover products subjected to "abnormal use," which includes misuse, accidents, modifications, neglect, lack of maintenance, or using the product after it is significantly worn.
  • Abnormal use of tool storage units is also excluded, including instances where the unit is pulled with a mechanical vehicle, rolled over large drops, used as a step stool, exposed to highly corrosive environments, or modified with non-Snap-on parts.
  • Snap-on is not liable for any incidental, special, or consequential losses, costs, or damages incurred by the buyer or others due to the usage of the product.
