What is covered under the Snap-on Warranty?

Snap-on always warrants their products purchased from Snap-on distribution channels for use in their profession that Snap-on® brand Products and Blue-Point® brand Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the duration described in the warranty code of each product only to the original purchaser. The duration of the warranty is solely decided on the nature of the product. Any defect in this timeframe will be repaired or replaced by Snap-on at its sole discretion. Products which fail to give satisfactory service even after the service will be refunded by repaying or crediting the customer with an amount equal to the purchase price of such Products. Repair, replacement or refund shall be at the election and expense of Snap-on, and is the customer’s exclusive remedy in place of all other rights and remedies.

What is NOT covered under the Snap-on Warranty?

In addition to other common limitations of the warranty plan, Snap-on does not accept any claims for products labeled other than Snap-on or Blue-Point and products subjected to “abnormal use”. Misuse, accident, modification, unreasonable use, no care, neglect, lack of maintenance, use in product-related service, or use after the product is significantly worn falls into “abnormal use”. Abnormal usage of tool storage units also includes, without limitation, situations when a unit is pulled using a mechanical vehicle, rolled over large drops, used in a highly corrosive environment, used as a step stool, modified with non-Snap-on parts, overloaded or modified in any way are also not covered by the claim. They are also not liable for any incidental, special or consequential losses and costs or damages incurred by the buyer or others, directly or indirectly arising from the usage of the product.
