Subject to the exclusion and limitations set forth in the limited warranty according to the specification of the product, Alside will cover all forms of material and workmanship defects in the product when properly installed and subject to normal use. Any defect found in this period will either be repaired or replaced by Alside at their sole discretion. Alside’s liability is limited to repairing or replacing the product and they will not be responsible for labor, removal of the original product in any case. All replacement by Alside will be warranted for the balance of the warranty period on the original product. The cost will be totally borne by Alside within the first 10 years of the period. They will only pay a percentage for claims after the period. This warranty also provides you with specific legal rights and other rights that will differ from one state or province to the other.
Alside’s warranty plan will not cover any defects that are due to improper handling, cleaning or maintenance, defective or improper glazing, installation or finishing (including glazing installation or finishing not in accordance with Alside’s instructions), accident, act of God, intentional human acts, misuse, abuse or any circumstances beyond the control of Alside; damage to the capillary tube, such as crimping or dirt/debris obstructing the opening of the capillary tube; accessories manufactured by unauthorized sources; normal wear and tear and application of any after-market products including, but not limited to, tints, films and protective coatings.
