  • The only way to start a warranty claim is through their official website using the Smith Warranty Claim form. Make sure to include your details, shipping information, images of defects, ID, and proof of purchase before submitting your request.

  • Upon approval of your warranty claim, you will receive a warranty voucher that can be used toward a product of similar value within the same category. You will be responsible for covering the shipping costs and any applicable taxes for the replacement order.

  • Usually, the warranty process takes about 1-2 weeks. Items bought using warranty vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged.

Step 2:

  • Full-price online orders from the original website are eligible for returns within 30 days of the purchase date. Both full-price and sale items can be returned, and refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. The items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Smith sunglasses and goggles, including custom goggles, are covered under this policy for the lifetime of the product, ensuring freedom from manufacturer defects. They retain the right to repair, replace, issue coupons, or provide a refund at their discretion for any defective products, except for damage resulting from improper or unreasonable use.

  • 1-year warranty on Smith apparel and accessories

  • 2-year standard limited warranty on Smith prescription eyewear

  • 3-year standard limited warranty on Smith helmets

  • Limited lifetime warranty on Smith sunglasses and goggles

What is NOT covered under the Smith Optics Warranty?

The warranty program does not cover products that have been lost, stolen, dropped, sat on, stepped on, run over, shattered, chewed by pets, or subjected to any other damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligence. Regarding apparel, the warranty does not apply to damage caused by accidents, improper care, negligence, regular wear and tear, or the natural fading or deterioration of colors and materials over time due to exposure or extended use. Any alterations made to lenses, frame components, or nose pads void all warranties.
