  • You can request a return for your controller within 30 days from the date of delivery. It's important to be aware that there is a 15% restocking fee for custom products when returned, except for pre-configured controllers, which are exempt from this fee.

  • Nonetheless, if a returned item is determined to be defective, the restocking fee will not be applicable. You will receive reimbursement for delivery fees or SCUF will consider the return of opened items solely under circumstances where they exhibit faults or were mistakenly supplied.

  • For returns, your name, seal of approval number, and a detailed explanation of why your controller needs servicing should be submitted.

What is covered under the Scuf Gaming Warranty?

The warranty is designed to guarantee that the New Product or Refurbished Product is free from defects, malfunctions, or failures upon delivery. Throughout the Warranty Period, at the discretion and expense, they will take one of the following actions in response to your defective Product: replace it, repair it, or provide a refund of the purchase price. This covers instances where the Product doesn't perform according to its technical specifications due to manufacturing defects or defects in one or more product components (subject to the exclusions and terms listed). During the Warranty Period, they will handle both inbound and outbound ground shipping costs for the return of your New Product or Refurbished Product when submitted through Scuf Gaming's RMA process. If you utilize their Scuf Gaming Send-In-Service to send a non-Scuf Gaming controller, only the part(s) purchased from them will be covered by this Warranty. The SCUF warranty shelters both the cosmetic condition and the complete functionality of the controller upon delivery.

What is NOT covered under the Scuf Gaming Warranty?

The warranty scheme does not cover specific conditions and situations. It does not apply to normal "Wear and Tear," which includes deterioration and failure resulting from regular use, wear, or aging. It also excludes damage caused intentionally or negligently by the user, such as misuse, dropping, throwing, or other forms of abuse. Unreasonable or excessive use, including commercial use, is not covered. Exposure of the product to fluids, moisture, or chemicals is not included in the warranty. Additionally, alterations, tampering, and attempts to open, dismantle, customize, modify, or self-repair the product are not covered. The warranty does not extend to exposure to extreme temperatures or conditions, attempts to charge or recharge the product through a wall outlet, or attachment of the product to a defective power cord exceeding the rated tolerance. Electrical damage resulting from external sources such as power surges or lightning is also excluded. Finally, cosmetic changes like scratches, dents, or alterations that change the original appearance of the product are not covered by the warranty.
