  • When submitting warranty claims, it's essential to provide details such as the model and, if applicable, the lot number of the covered product in question, along with a description of the encountered difficulty or defect. Owners are advised to insure their shipments for added security.

Step 2:

  • Although product registration is not mandatory for warranty service, registering your product can simplify the process when filing a claim.

  • For registration, your name, email, phone number, street address, city, state, location of purchase, model number, and other essential information should be submitted.

Step 3:

  • Schrade assumes no liability for loss or damage during transit. However, if the claim is covered by this warranty, Schrade will cover transportation and insurance charges for the return to the owner.

  • This warranty is applicable solely to residents of the United States. It provides you with certain legal rights, and you may also possess additional rights that differ depending on your jurisdiction.

What is covered under the Schrade Warranty?

The warranty provided by Schrade pertains exclusively to Schrade brand products. Covered Products are guaranteed to be devoid of defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of their lifetime. Schrade will, at its discretion, replace any Covered Product or component part found to be defective under normal use and service, with an item of equivalent value, at no cost, and within a reasonable timeframe following notification and delivery of the Covered Product. This warranty is restricted to the original owner of the Covered Product and cannot be transferred. To qualify for replacement under this warranty, the original owner must furnish valid proof of purchase.

What is NOT covered under the Schrade Warranty?

The warranty excludes coverage for routine maintenance and servicing, normal wear and tear, as well as any instances where Covered Products or their component parts have been lost, stolen, or subjected to commercial use, corrosion, misuse, neglect, intentional damage, carelessness, or accidents. Additionally, it does not apply to unauthorized or improper disassembly, adjustments, modifications, or repairs attempted by individuals other than qualified technicians following Schrade's authorized procedures, or as a result of failure to adhere to the operating and care instructions of the Covered Product. Furthermore, the warranty does not extend to batteries, defects arising from improper or faulty batteries, or any cosmetic damage that does not impact the operation or performance of the Covered Product.
