Protection for your hardware is tied directly to your Dated Proof of Purchase from an authorized dealer. While various product categories have different coverage windows, your sales receipt acts as the mechanical necessity to validate your status as the original owner and to confirm that the failure occurred within the manufacturer's specified timeframe.
You should save a digital copy of your receipt immediately upon purchase. This documentation is mandatory for all apparel, accessories, snowboards, and bindings. For skateboard components like decks, wheels, and bearings, a technician may request this proof to verify the start date of your hardware protection during the intake process.
Maintaining this record ensures a seamless transition should you need to initiate a technical evaluation. Without a valid receipt from an authorized partner, the staff may be unable to honor the claim, as the guarantee is intended for the original retail purchaser only.
If your gear suffers a failure, such as deck delamination, a casting anomaly in your trucks, or a zipper defect in your apparel, the primary route for resolution is through an official digital assessment. You must initiate the process by filling out the Warranty Claim Form on the official website.
A warranty technician will review your submission and any associated images to determine the nature of the fault. They will evaluate whether the issue is a legitimate manufacturing defect such as adhesive failure or structural stress cracking or the result of "User Error," such as improper landings or environmental exposure.
In some cases, the technician may require you to send the product in for a physical inspection. Note that for trucks, the "lifetime" of the hardware is considered over once the hanger is ground down to the axle. For all other components, the evaluation focuses on identifying flaws in materials or workmanship that existed at the point of purchase.
To finalize a resolution, you must receive an email reply from the specialized NHS staff to officially start the claim. This communication is the required final step to confirm whether your hardware qualifies for a factory-certified replacement or if further evidence is needed for confirmation.
The technical team operates during standard business hours to review images and validate claims. All resolutions are at the sole discretion of the warranty technicians, whose intent is to replace defective products that do not meet the brand's rigorous quality standards.
Once a technician validates your claim, they will coordinate the dispatch of replacement hardware or components. Please be aware that for older snowboards or specific apparel, inventory may be limited, and the team will make every effort to provide a suitable high-performance alternative to get you back on the session.
