For the original buyer, Rug Doctor will repair or replace any part found to be defective in material or workmanship for its products within one year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to products purchased from authorized Rug Doctor dealers.
The warranty excludes coverage for instances of normal wear and tear, accidents, other unforeseen incidents, negligence, inadequate maintenance, improper usage, unauthorized adjustments to the machine, alterations to the machine's configuration, or any form of misuse or abuse, including usage not in compliance with the provided "User Guide." Machines must be assembled, used, and maintained according to the provided operating instructions to be eligible for warranty coverage. Defects or damage resulting from services or parts supplied by Rug Doctor dealers not authorized by the company are not covered under the warranty. Routine maintenance tasks such as clearing clogs or cleaning brush rollers are considered normal upkeep and are not covered. Additionally, damages caused by external factors such as exposure to liquids, hot substances, adverse weather conditions, or proximity to heat sources are not covered. Rug Doctor does not warranty individual machine parts for consumer or commercial purchases. All individual machine parts are expressly excluded from the warranty coverage.
