3 Simple Steps for Rubbermaid Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • The initial step is registering your Rubbermaid product using the form provided, including your name, phone number, email, residential address, model number, and date of purchase.

  • The products are protected by the warranty scheme when they are used following the instructions that came with the recently purchased products.

Step 2:

  • Having your proof of purchase and proof of delivery date as evidence, Rubbermaid services your product, meaning it either replaces the product or part, or a refund will be issued.

  • Rubbermaid maintains the prerogative to ask for photographic evidence showcasing the product defect. Additionally, there is the possibility that the faulty product may be required to be shipped to Rubbermaid for inspection, contributing to quality control endeavors.

Step 3:

  • In addition to your personal details and reasons for contacting the customer support team, customers have to attach files with a combined size of 6.9 Mb. The size of each file is 2.3 Mb.

  • The main reason for uploading the images of the product is to help the customer support team members identify your concerns easily and allow them to resolve them immediately.

  • During the warranty process, Rubbermaid may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.

What is covered under the Rubbermaid Warranty?

Rubbermaid warrants to the initial end-user owner that every item within its product lines is devoid of material and workmanship defects for a specified duration. This warranty is applicable solely to products bought and utilized by end-users in the United States of America and Canada, exclusively for the original owner, and is non-transferable. Any malfunctions must be reported during the relevant limited warranty period.

  • 10-year limited warranty on outdoor living products

What is NOT covered under the Rubbermaid Warranty?

The limited warranty does not cover commercial use or use for purposes other than personal or household use. Furthermore, damages resulting from normal wear and tear, insects, animals, or rodents, the application of force, improper handling, inappropriate use, abuse, neglect, accidents, impact from foreign objects, vandalism, exposure to pollutants, placement on an uneven foundation, alterations, painting, fading, assembly not in accordance with the User's Manual, or damage caused by exceeding the Product's capacity limits are not included in this limited warranty. Rubbermaid retains the right to deny coverage if the defect or damage is a result of unauthorized attempts to repair or modify the item. The limited warranty expressly excludes defects or damage arising from repair or modification. Additionally, this warranty does not apply to damages caused by "acts of nature," such as wind, hail, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, heavy snow, ice, blizzards, floods, or fire effects. The limited warranty becomes void if structural parts and components not provided by Rubbermaid are used. It also does not extend to cover "Normal Weathering," defined as the gradual fading, chalking, or accumulation of dirt or stains on any colored surface due to exposure to sunlight and extreme weather conditions.
