Step 1:

  • To secure your warranty, be sure to register your product. Keep in mind that product registration requires having the model and serial numbers of your appliances on hand.

  • When you are not sure about where the model number is, you can locate the model number on the rear of the wash basket for washers, and dryers have the number on the upper left-hand side of the front panel.

  • During the warranty process, Roper Appliances may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the 1-year warranty period.

Step 2:

  • The model number should be entered to review the manuals and guides. The same method has to be followed as it is in the product registration to find the model number.

  • For your Roper brand appliances, make sure to exclusively employ factory-certified components. These factory-certified parts are meticulously crafted, rigorously tested, and tailored precisely for your Roper brand appliance's needs.

  • With the Roper Service Plan, you enjoy cost-effective product coverage, ensuring your valuable product is safeguarded while providing an additional layer of peace of mind.

Step 3:

  • Reaching customer support over the phone or by email is the smoothest way. A few details have to be provided, and then type the question you want to ask them.

  • Once you provide your details, you'll have the opportunity to receive exclusive special offers, promotions, and other email marketing communications from the Roper brand and its affiliated brands.

Roper Appliances Warranty Period:

  • 1-year limited warranty on washers and dryers

What is covered under the Roper Appliances Warranty?

The Roper limited warranty becomes active from the original consumer purchase date. To qualify for service under this warranty, you must provide proof of the original purchase date. This warranty is applicable only when the major appliance is installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided with the product. Whirlpool Corporation or Whirlpool Canada LP (referred to as "Whirlpool") will cover the cost of Factory Specified Replacement Parts and repair labor to address defects in materials or workmanship that were present at the time of the major appliance's purchase. Alternatively, at its discretion, Whirlpool may opt to replace the product. In the event of product replacement, the new appliance will be covered for the remaining duration of the original unit's warranty period. Service must be performed by a service company designated by Whirlpool. This limited warranty is valid exclusively in the United States or Canada and applies only when the major appliance is used in the country where it was initially purchased.

What is NOT covered under the Roper Appliances Warranty?

The warranty policy has several exclusions that are important to note. Firstly, it does not cover appliances used in commercial, non-residential, multiple-family settings, or in ways that deviate from the published user, operator, or installation instructions. Additionally, it does not encompass in-home instruction on how to use the product or service required to correct improper product maintenance or installation. This includes installation not in compliance with electrical or plumbing codes or the correction of household electrical or plumbing issues. Consumable parts like light bulbs, batteries, air or water filters, and preservation solutions are not covered, nor are defects or damage resulting from the use of non-genuine Whirlpool parts or accessories. The warranty does not extend to the conversion of the product from natural gas or L.P. gas or the reversal of appliance doors. It also excludes damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, fire, floods, acts of God, or use with products not approved by Whirlpool. Repairs to parts or systems to correct product damage or defects caused by unauthorized service, alteration, or modification of the appliance are not included. Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, chips, and other damage to appliance finishes, is not covered unless it results from defects in materials and workmanship and is reported to Whirlpool within 30 days. Discoloration, rust, or oxidation of surfaces due to caustic or corrosive environments, like high salt concentrations, high moisture or humidity, or exposure to chemicals, are excluded from the warranty. The policy also does not cover pick-up or delivery as this product is intended for in-home repair. Travel or transportation expenses for service in remote locations where an authorized Whirlpool servicer is not available are not included. The removal or reinstallation of inaccessible appliances or built-in fixtures, such as trim, decorative panels, flooring, cabinetry, islands, countertops, drywall, etc., that interfere with servicing, removal, or replacement of the product are not covered. Finally, service or parts for appliances with original model/serial numbers removed, altered, or not easily determined are also excluded from the warranty.
