3 Simple Steps for Magic Chef Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • Your personal information, such as name, address, state, city, phone, email, and confirm email, and the product's brand name, model, serial number, purchase date, shop name, and the price of the product, are very vital for the product registration to begin the warranty claiming process. At last, proof of purchase should be submitted.

  • Their limited warranty excludes coverage for items bought through unofficial resellers or private individuals in secondhand transactions.

Step 2:

  • For comprehensive details on Magic Chef products, including refrigerators or freezers exceeding 15 cubic feet, cooktops of up to 30 inches or more, gas/electric ranges, built-in dishwashers, washers surpassing 3 cubic feet, or dryers exceeding 6.5 cu. ft., please gather the information from Maytag Corporation.

  • In addition to personal and product information, service information has to be provided to request service.

  • Credit card statements will not serve as valid proof of purchase since they lack the specific model number and price details of the acquired product.

Step 3:

  • Whether you are looking for general, part, sales, or technical information you are advised to contact the Magic Chef customer service department.

  • Magic Chef has a strong commitment to valuing customer comments, feedback, and inquiries regarding their products. Chat option is available to have conversations with a customer service representative.

  • During the warranty process, Magic Chef may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period.

What is covered under the Magic Chef Warranty?

Magic Chef provides a warranty for each new product, ensuring they are free from material and workmanship defects. The company commits to addressing such defects by either rectifying the issue or, at their discretion, providing new part(s) for any failed unit component during the warranty period. This warranty covers parts and labor expenses for one year from the purchase date. To avail of warranty service, replacement, or a refund, you must provide a copy of the dated sales receipt or invoice. Furthermore, this warranty extends to MC Appliance Corporation, warranting the compressor (parts only) to be free from material and workmanship defects for five years. After the initial one-year warranty period, the consumer is responsible for all labor and transportation costs related to diagnosing and replacing the compressor. If the unit necessitates replacement or a refund as per the warranty terms, the consumer must cover all transportation expenses to return the unit to the factory before receiving a replacement or refund. Please note that this warranty applies to appliances used within the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

  • 1-year limited warranty on parts and labor

  • 5-year limited warranty on compressor parts only

What is NOT covered under the Magic Chef Warranty?

The warranty policy does not cover various circumstances, including damages resulting from shipping or improper installation, misuse or abuse, content losses due to unit failure, or issues with internal components such as door panels, door shelves, racks, and light bulbs. It also excludes repairs carried out by unauthorized service agents, service calls that do not involve material and workmanship defects (such as instructions on product use or improper installation), and the replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers. This warranty will not apply if the product is used for purposes other than its intended use, and it does not cover disposal costs for failed units not returned to the factory or any delivery or installation expenses incurred due to a unit not meeting specified performance standards. Additionally, costs related to travel and transportation for product service in remote areas where authorized service technicians are not available are not covered. If your appliance is located in an inaccessible location or not installed following published instructions, the warranty does not include the removal and reinstallation of the appliance. For products that are non-repairable, refunds are limited to the price paid for the unit as indicated on the sales receipt. Please note that this warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser, not extending to any subsequent owner.

About Magic Chef

In 1992, CNA International was founded by its founder as a company specializing in the import, export, and distribution of various products. Just four years later, in 1996, CNA International obtained a license to utilize the Magic Chef brand for compact appliances, eventually acquiring the brand in 2010. To cater to the commercial market's demand for refrigeration and cooking appliances, Norpole and Magic Chef Commercial were established. By 2018, Magic Chef had extended the reach of its brand through an outbound licensing initiative, all with the primary objective of delivering reliable, user-friendly products at a budget-friendly price point to their valued customers.
