After you create an account, it will take you to the page where you need to select the RODE product to view the warranty policy. At the top, you will be able to see the conditions and terms of the extended warranty program offered by them.
The extended warranty is offered to customers who have purchased products from authorized retailers. The extended warranty may be two, five, ten years, or a lifetime (based on the model) through the details you provide in the registration form that appears after the account is created.
RODE Microphones also guides you to the location where you can purchase the product. By selecting the country and postcode, the map displays the accurate location of the store.

During the warranty process, RODE Microphones may provide one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period, which may be 1, 2, 5, or 10 years.

All RODE products come with a limited one (1)-year warranty from the date of purchase, applicable only to products acquired from authorized RODE dealers. This warranty specifically covers defects arising solely from faulty materials or workmanship in the RODE product. It is restricted to covering the costs of parts and labor necessary for the proper repair of the RODE product. In cases where a proper repair is not feasible, RODE, at its sole discretion, may opt to replace the product with a new one of the same model. If the RODE product is irreparable and no longer available, RODE will, again at its sole discretion, provide a different replacement product with a similar specification and/or value.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from user actions, or exposure to excessive heat, dust, spillages, or moisture. It also excludes damage from abnormally corrosive conditions, exposure to chemical or electromagnetic influences, failure to clean or improper cleaning of the RODE product, neglect, abuse, or misuse. This includes but is not limited to, not using the RODE product for its intended purpose in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, failing to properly maintain the product as per the manufacturer's instructions, and not adhering to the manufacturer's specifications for use. Normal wear and tear due to usage is not covered, and neither is wear and tear resulting from excessive use, such as the commercial use of domestic equipment. The warranty does not extend to using the RODE product with incompatible or faulty equipment, unauthorized modifications, repairs performed by unauthorized persons or service centers, alterations, removal, or illegibility of the model and/or serial number, accidents, force majeure, acts of God, or any other circumstances beyond RODE’s control.
