3 Simple Steps for Pirelli Warranty Claim

Step 1:

• Pirelli's Limited Warranty covers all new Pirelli Original Equipment and Replacement Passenger and Light Truck tires with a complete D.O.T. identification number, purchased in the USA or Canada through an authorized Pirelli dealer or distributor and mounted on passenger or light truck vehicles for primary use.

• The warranty extends to the first retail purchaser of the tire or to the original owner of the vehicle on which Pirelli tires are fitted as Original Equipment. The warranty is non-transferable. Tires transferred from the vehicle on which they were originally installed are not eligible for warranty coverage.

• Have your original sales invoice or proof of purchase ready before visiting a dealer. If the purchase date is not clear on the invoice, the date of manufacture printed on the tire will be used to determine eligibility.

Step 2:

• All Pirelli warranty claims must be initiated in person at an authorized Pirelli dealer; claims cannot be submitted directly to Pirelli. Use the Dealer Locator on Pirelli's official website to find your nearest authorized location.

• Bring the affected tire(s) and your original proof of purchase to the authorized dealer. The dealer will inspect the tire and, if a covered condition is identified, will submit the tire to Pirelli on your behalf. Pirelli's Tire Inspection Personnel will then authorize the remedy.

• For original equipment tires fitted on a new vehicle, your vehicle manufacturer's authorized dealer can assist in initiating the warranty claim. For replacement tires, return to the authorized Pirelli dealer where you originally purchased them.

Step 3:

• If the tire is confirmed defective within the free replacement period (the first year from purchase or the first 2/32 inch of tread wear, whichever comes first), Pirelli will replace it with an identical or comparable tire at no charge, including mounting and balancing. Taxes and miscellaneous fees are not covered.

• If the defect occurs later but within 6 years of purchase, a pro-rated replacement may be offered based on the percentage of tread worn. Mounting and balancing charges are the owner’s responsibility.
