Step 1:

  • The FLEX Limited Warranty covers the original purchaser only in the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Canada for FLEX products purchased from an authorized FLEX retailer. The warranty is non-transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

  • Identify your product type to confirm the applicable warranty period, as different products have different coverage terms, including FLEX 24V tools, batteries and chargers, FLEX STACK PACK storage tool boxes, and functional attachments FT161 and FT421.

  • Retain your original dated sales receipt as proof of purchase, as it is required to complete a warranty claim. Failure to register your product does not diminish your warranty rights, but registration within 30 days is required to receive the full 5-year coverage period.

Step 2:

  • Before returning your product, contact the customer support team and be prepared to describe the alleged defect and provide your original dated sales receipt. The team will assess your claim and, if preliminarily approved, will direct you to an authorized FLEX Service Dealer.

  • Locate your nearest authorized FLEX Service Dealer by visiting the FLEX Power Tools website. The purchaser is responsible for transportation costs to and from the authorized service dealer.

  • Return the complete product, including all attachments, to the authorized FLEX Service Dealer. Do not attempt repairs through any unauthorized service provider, as doing so may void the warranty.

Step 3:

  • Once the authorized FLEX Service Dealer inspects the product and confirms that the defect is covered under the warranty, FLEX's sole obligation is to repair or replace the defective parts at no charge, whichever option FLEX determines is appropriate.

  • Because FLEX cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, warranty claims for products purchased from unauthorized retailers or websites may be rejected. If you are unsure whether your retailer is authorized, contact the support team before submitting a claim.

  • Replacement or repaired parts do not extend the warranty beyond the remaining term of the original warranty period. No warranty coverage is provided for incidental or consequential damages of any kind.

What is covered under the Flex powertools Warranty?

Defects in materials or workmanship in eligible FLEX 24V tools, batteries, and chargers during the applicable warranty period — repaired or replaced at no charge through an authorised FLEX Service Dealer.

  • FLEX STACK PACK tool boxes covered for defects in materials or workmanship for 1 year from date of purchase with registration; Functional Attachments FT161 and FT421 covered for 5 years with registration or 3 years without.
  • Batteries and chargers are included within the same warranty period as the 24V tool they are registered with — batteries are covered for defects in workmanship and materials for the full warranty duration.
  • Repair or part replacement is covered at no charge, including labour, when performed by an authorized FLEX Service Dealer during the active warranty period.

What is NOT covered under the Flex powertools Warranty?

Normal wear and tear on any FLEX product part failure resulting from regular use over time is expressly excluded from coverage.

  • Products that have been misused, carelessly handled, abused, or repaired by anyone other than an authorised FLEX Service Dealer — unauthorised repairs void the warranty entirely.
  • Accessories, attachments (except FT161 and FT421), and parts are not covered under the 5-Year or 3-Year warranty. The STACK PACK system warranty also does not cover system attachments or power tool accessories.
