What is covered under the OtterBox Warranty?

OtterBox guarantees its merchandise against manufacturing defects, material flaws, or workmanship issues during typical usage and service for the specified warranty durations. This restricted warranty is valid solely for products obtained from an authorized OtterBox dealer that adheres to and complies with Otter's stringent quality standards.

What is NOT covered under the OtterBox Warranty?

The warranty excludes coverage for defects arising from regular wear and tear or the natural aging process of the Product, as well as cosmetic imperfections like scratches, dents, and broken plastic. Additionally, it does not cover issues resulting from failure to adhere to operating instructions, accidents, excessive moisture exposure, insect damage, misuse, abuse, fire, lightning, earthquakes, or other external factors. Damages caused by power surges, improper voltage supply connections, unauthorized alterations or modifications, inadequate packing or shipping practices, loss of data, or use with non-OtterBox products are also not covered. Furthermore, the warranty does not extend to Products requiring modification to operate in countries other than those for which they were originally designed, manufactured, approved, and authorized, nor does it cover repairs for products damaged by such modifications. Lastly, products purchased from unauthorized dealers lacking Otter's quality controls are not eligible for warranty coverage.
