What is covered under the Onkyo Warranty?

Onkyo warrants all Onkyo labeled original products that are purchased directly from Onkyo or from Independent Onkyo Authorized Dealers will be free from any sort of defect or problem in functioning, material and workmanship for the specified period of time under prescribed usage. Onkyo will repair or replace if any product faces defects in the time period in accordance with their terms and conditions free of cost. This applies to both parts and labor warranty claims. The parts to be used for the repair or replacement will be decided in accordance with the discretion of Onkyo. This limited warranty only extends to the original purchaser of the product commencing from the date of purchase.

  • 1-Year Warranty Period(Parts & Labor): CD Players, Personal Audio Systems, Turntables, Accessories & Speaker Stands, TA-RW255, DX-C390.

  • 1-Year Warranty Period(Parts & Labor) For Refurbished Products.

  • 2-Year Warranty Period(Parts & Labor): Receivers, DVD Players, Amplifier, Home Theater Systems, Speakers, Processors.

  • 3-Year Warranty Period(Parts & Labor): RZ Series Receivers.

What is NOT covered under the Onkyo Warranty?

Onkyo has specified limitations on what is included in the warranty claim. This warranty plan applies only to the products that are manufactured and identified by Onkyo Trademark. They also do not or cannot warranty the error-free or uninterrupted operation of the product or station or any service available through the use of the Product; defects or damage caused by improper usage, abuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized product modification or service, or failure to observe the instructions contained in the manual furnished at the time of original purchase; caused by fire, accident, flood, smoke, water damage, power surge (or related electrical abnormalities), lightning or other acts of nature; deterioration or failure due to or arising because of exposure to corrosive atmosphere, including but not limited to smoke, high humidity or extreme temperature; damage caused during shipment or handling; products that have had their serial numbers or rating labels removed or altered; purchased from anyone other than Onkyo or an Independent Onkyo Authorized Dealer; no maintenance, cleaning or periodic check-ups; products whose software, firmware or other operating systems have been altered or modified other than via an Onkyo provided download or by an Onkyo independent authorized service center in accordance with Onkyo provided firmware, software or other operating system upgrade or update and damage attributable to battery leakages.
