What is covered under the Navman Warranty?

The warranty is applicable to the "Product," referring to a Navman navigation unit and its accompanying accessories (excluding the USB cable), acquired from an authorised Navman dealer. Navman assures that throughout the warranty period, the Product will be devoid of material and workmanship defects and, if a user manual is supplied, will largely adhere to the specifications and descriptions outlined in the manual. During the warranty period, Navman will, at its discretion, either repair or replace defective Products or those not conforming to the specifications, provided that you adhere to the specified Warranty Service Procedure.

What is NOT covered under the Navman Warranty?

The warranty excludes coverage for non-rechargeable batteries, finishes, services conducted or attempted by individuals not affiliated with an authorized Navman Service Centre, installations, and any products, components, or parts not manufactured by Navman. Failure of the product due to specific circumstances is also not covered by the warranty, including issues arising from shipping, misuse, tampering, abuse, negligence, wear and tear exceeding normal consumer use expectations, improper installation, unauthorized attachments or modifications, failure to maintain as recommended, electrical discharges (including lightning), exposure to water (unless otherwise specified in the User Manual), moisture or liquids, proximity or exposure to heat, disasters such as fire, flood, wind, and lightning, or the failure of availability or reliability of any external resource essential or beneficial for the product's operation.
