Step 1:

  • Confirm you are the original purchaser of the product, as the Modloft warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the person who originally acquired the furniture new from Modloft or an authorised reseller.

  • Verify that the product was purchased for personal, residential use. The warranty explicitly excludes commercial use, including furniture placed in offices, hotels, rental properties, restaurants, or any other non-residential environment.

  • Ensure the issue was discovered within the one-year warranty period from the date of delivery, and that it relates to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship rather than damage from misuse, improper installation, or normal wear.

Step 2:

  • As soon as you discover the defect, photograph the issue clearly and thoroughly. Modloft may require images to initiate and assess your warranty claim, so detailed documentation is essential before reaching out.

  • Submit a written claim notice by emailing within the warranty period and within 30 days of discovering the basis for your claim submitted outside this window may not be considered.

  • Include your order details, proof of purchase, product description, and a clear explanation of the defect in your email, along with any supporting images as required by the support team.

Step 3:

  • Modloft will review your claim and the supporting images to determine, at its sole discretion, whether the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect covered under the limited warranty.

  • If your claim is approved, Modloft will repair or replace the defective product, part, or component with a comparable item. The choice of remedy (repair or replacement) is at Modloft's discretion.

  • If you purchased an Extend accident protection plan (2-, 3-, or 5-year), separate claims for accidental damage, such as rips, tears, stains, or burns, can be submitted directly to Extend online or by phone. Mechanical failure coverage under Extend begins after the Modloft manufacturer's warranty expires.

What is covered under the Mod Loft Warranty?

Modloft's limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for all furniture during the one-year warranty period from the date of delivery.

  • If a covered defect is confirmed, Modloft will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product, part, or component with a comparable item.
  • The warranty applies only to furniture purchased new from Modloft directly or from authorized resellers, and only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.

What is NOT covered under the Mod Loft Warranty?

Damage resulting from faulty installation or improper assembly

  • Damage from outdoor use (for products not designated as outdoor furniture)
  • Misuse, abuse, or use not in accordance with Modloft's care and maintenance instructions
  • Normal wear and tear, including expected surface wear, fading, or minor cosmetic changes over time
  • Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, UV light, or environmental conditions
