In the case, Any type of malfunction or failure of the System, property damages, or personal injury caused by or resulting from: installation, alteration, repair or service by anyone other than a licensed contractor or other than pursuant to the manufacturer’s instructions; improper or deferred maintenance contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions; misuse of the System (including failure to perform any maintenance as described in the Operation manual such as air filter cleaning, or any System damaged by excessive physical or electrical stress; operating the System in a wet or corrosive environment, including those containing fluorine, chlorine or any other harmful or hazardous chemicals or environmental factors, including sea- or salt-water; improper matching of System components; events of force majeure or damage caused by other external factors such as power surges, lightning, fluctuations in or interruptions of rodents, electrical power, insects, vermin or other animal- or pest-related issues; improper sizing of the System; negligence, improper care, freight damage, accident, or misuse; systems that have had a serial number or any part thereof altered, defaced or removed. It also does not cover any type of labor cost associated with service, repair, maintenance, replacing, removing, installing, compliance with local building and electrical codes, shipping or handling of defective or replacement products, compressor or parts.
