To file a Metabo warranty claim, you must submit the original proof of purchase that includes the purchase date.
Repairs covered under warranty can only be performed by Metabo’s service stations or authorized Metabo warranty service agents.
If a machine purchased after January 2004 is registered within four weeks, Metabo offers an extended warranty of three years, effective from the date of purchase for the end user/customer.
Registration can only be completed online at www.metabo-service.com, and customers can do it themselves. After registration, customers will receive the XXL warranty confirmation via email or have the option to print it immediately.
This confirmation is always tied to a specific machine, ensuring that each warranty is clearly linked to its corresponding product.
When submitting a warranty claim, you must include the XXL warranty confirmation or the registration printout along with the sales receipt that shows the purchase date.

Metabo offers a warranty that complies with the laws of the customer’s country of residence, with a minimum duration of one year starting from the date the tool or machine is sold to the end user. This warranty covers only defects in materials and/or workmanship.
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper use, such as overloading the machine (for example, using a jigsaw for pallet construction) or attaching non-approved accessories. Additionally, it excludes damages caused by external factors or foreign objects, such as sand or stones. The warranty will also be void if the instructions for use are not followed, including instances where the tool is connected to an unsuitable power supply or voltage, or if installation instructions are ignored. Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty, nor does it apply to tools or machines that have been partially or completely disassembled.
