3 Simple Steps for Meir Tapeware Warranty Claim:

Step 1:

  • The form to file a warranty claim contains mandatory fields such as order number, your name, email address, phone number, and date stamp, along with optional fields that you may want to fill out.

  • You must upload photos of the product and plumbing receipt or the new-build warranty documents to validate your warranty. The size limit is 10 megabytes for each file. 

  • An agent authorized by Meir will come to the location where the product has been installed after you make the warranty claim to check if the product is damaged due to incorrect or faulty installation or misuse. Such damages may render the warranty invalid.

  • Failure to furnish proof of purchase or equivalent documentation will result in the voiding of the warranty.

Step 2:

  • You should not take more than thirty days from the original delivery date to return the product in case you change your mind after receiving it. Your product should be in its original packaging and unused condition when returning it.

  • There is a high probability of your product getting rejected in the event your product is returned with used, connected, installed, attempted to be connected or installed, or if your Product is custom-made or is a special buy Product.

  • The costs that you pay for the original delivery will not be included in the refunds provided by the manufacturer. No credits or exchanges will be allowed beyond 30 days from the delivery date.

Step 3:

  • For your queries of any kind to be promptly resolved, get in touch with the customer support team, which has sound knowledge of the vast majority of topics and has successfully sorted out numerous issues.

  • You also have the right to have the goods repaired or replaced if they do not meet acceptable quality standards, and the failure does not constitute a major failure.

  • During the warranty process, Meir Tapeware may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period. The warranty period varies by product.

What is covered under the Meir Tapeware Warranty?

Meir Australia assures that products produced or distributed by Meir Australia and its authorized agents will be free from inherent defects in materials and workmanship throughout the applicable warranty period for the product. Please note that the warranty is valid only within Australia.

  • 15-year residential warranty on sinks, basins, and sink accessories

  • Lifetime commercial and industrial warranty on all products

What is NOT covered under the Meir Tapeware Warranty?

The warranty does not extend to instances of normal and fair wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or mishaps. It also excludes damage resulting from exposure to excessive moisture due to inadequate ventilation, inability to provide proof of purchase, incorrect applications of the products, and installation by non-licensed tradespersons. Additionally, the warranty does not cover damages arising during installation or if the products are not installed according to relevant National Standards, State Regulations, or provided installation instructions. Products exposed to extreme environmental elements, water pressures, or temperatures beyond stated limitations are not covered. Any scratches or damage caused by direct physical or abrasive contact with the product, lack of isolation stop taps where required, fitting of unapproved devices to tapware outlets, and failure to install flow-regulated check valves where necessary are also excluded. The warranty is void if services, repairs, or non-standard replacement parts are undertaken without the Seller's approval. Damage caused by adhesives, sealants, corrosives, or failure to comply with care and cleaning instructions is not covered. Failure to clean or replace outlet aerator inserts within 18 months, and repair or replacement of Jumper Valves, O-rings, washers, or Aerator Inserts are not included in the warranty.
