Step 1:

  • Your bikes have to be registered first. You will need to submit details such as bike model, purchase date, and serial number, along with your personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and residential address.

  • Beneath the bottom bracket, the serial number can be located. This marks the frame section where the pedals connect at the base of your bicycle.

  • Marin Bikes will keep you updated by providing the latest information and ensuring the protection of your bike based on the details you provide in the form.

Step 2:

  • The warranty grants you certain legal entitlements, and you might possess additional rights that can differ depending on your location. The interpretation of the warranty will be in accordance with the laws of the United States.

  • No entity or individuals, including Marin's employees or agents, have the authority to alter, expand, or extend this warranty in any manner, or to provide any other warranties, either expressed or implied, on behalf of Marin.

Step 3:

  • The customer service team has three options to contact them: either by mail, phone, or using the form. As of now, getting in touch with them via the form is the most effective way.

  • They advise you to use email more than direct phone calls because through email you can send photos, website links, and other customer service inquiries.

  • During the warranty process, Marin Bikes may provide one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service during the warranty period. Marin Bikes provides a 1-year warranty on complete bicycles, a 5-year warranty on frames, and a lifetime warranty on rigid frames and forks.

Marin Bikes Warranty Period:

  • 1-year warranty on complete bicycle

  • 5-year warranty on Carbon Fiber Frames and Forks and Full Suspension Frames

  • Lifetime warranty on Rigid Frames and Forks

What is covered under the Marin Bikes Warranty?

Marin Mountain Bikes, Inc. assures the original retail purchaser that the Marin product, covered by this warranty, is devoid of defects in material and workmanship for the specified periods outlined in the provided warranty table. The warranty commences from the original retail purchase date and is applicable solely in North America. For warranty details in other countries, kindly reach out to the distributor in your respective country. The validity of the warranty is contingent upon the bicycle being purchased from and assembled by an authorized Marin dealer.

What is NOT covered under the Marin Bikes Warranty?

The warranty does not encompass products that have undergone modifications, neglect, poor maintenance, commercial use, misuse, abuse, or involvement in accidents. Regularly inspecting the product to assess the need for routine servicing or replacement is your responsibility. It excludes damage occurring during product shipment, products covered by another seller's warranty, and products with altered or removed serial numbers or identifying marks. Additionally, it does not cover used products, those lacking original packaging, or damage resulting from improper assembly or repair, incompatible parts or accessories, failure to follow warnings or instructions, and removal of original product decals. This warranty is not applicable if the original product decals are removed.
