Avanti Products offers a warranty stating that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a duration of twelve (12) months, commencing from the original purchase date. This timeframe commences on the purchase date and will not be paused, extended, or suspended unless explicitly detailed in the warranty documentation. Within one year from the original purchase date, Avanti Products will, at its discretion, either repair or replace any component of the product that is found to be defective in terms of material or workmanship under regular use. Avanti Products will provide you with a reasonably similar product that is either new or factory refurbished during this period. All necessary parts and labor required to rectify such defects will be provided at no cost, on the condition that the product has been installed and operated in compliance with the instructions specified in this manual. In cases of rental or commercial use, the warranty period is limited to 90 days. All Avanti appliances with a capacity of 4.2 cubic feet or less must be transported or sent to the appliance service center for repair.
1-year manufacturer-limited warranty on most of the products
The warranty coverage provided by Avanti Products does not encompass defects or damages that are not directly attributed to the fault of Avanti Products. This exclusion encompasses but is not limited to, the failure to comply with relevant state, local, city, or county electrical, plumbing, and building codes, regulations, or laws. It also extends to instances where the product has not been installed in strict adherence to local fire and building codes and regulations. Furthermore, the warranty excludes damages caused by external, elemental, and environmental forces and factors, including rain, wind, sand, floods, fires, mudslides, freezing temperatures, excessive moisture, prolonged exposure to humidity, lightning, power surges, structural failures surrounding the appliance, and acts of nature. The warranty does not cover content losses, such as food spoilage. It's important to note that incidental or consequential damages are not covered, and certain parts and labor costs are also not considered under warranty, such as evaporator doors, inner door panels, chest freezer lid liners, light bulbs, plastic housing, punctured evaporators that affect the sealed system, and shipping and handling costs associated with unit replacement. Additionally, repairs performed by unauthorized servicers, service calls related to external issues like misuse, inadequate electrical power, accidents, fires, floods, and other acts of nature, as well as the failure of the product when used for unintended purposes, are not included within the warranty. This warranty does not extend beyond the Continental USA and excludes surcharges, including but not limited to after-hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip charges, or mileage expenses for service calls to remote areas.
