What is covered under the Kleenmaid Warranty?

The Kleenmaid warranty encompasses defects arising from faulty workmanship or parts that have failed under normal Domestic Use. Evaluation by objective testing, conducted by Kleenmaid and/or its agents, determines the presence of any defects in the product or faulty workmanship. The validity of this Kleenmaid Warranty is contingent upon product repairs being carried out within Mainland Australia. Specifically, it encompasses products purchased as new, explicitly designed for use in Mainland Australia. Commencing from the date of product delivery, the warranty incorporates provisions for labor and replacement parts necessary to uphold the product in optimal operating condition, as stipulated in this Kleenmaid Warranty. Should a product experience failure during normal Domestic Use, Kleenmaid holds the authority to opt for repair or replacement of the defective product or part, offering an item of similar kind and quality. Replacement parts may be either new or reconditioned, resembling the original product but potentially costing less. It's important to note that no charges or refunds will be issued based on the cost difference of the replacement product or part. Furthermore, the warranty is applicable only when the product is utilized and operated in strict accordance with the Manufacturer's instructions.

What is NOT covered under the Kleenmaid Warranty?

The warranty explicitly excludes coverage for various scenarios, encompassing damage or failure to the product or its parts under specific conditions. Instances where the product is inadequately serviced according to the manufacturer's recommendations, damage resulting from environmental conditions (e.g., dirt, dust, rodents, insects, rust, corrosion, salt build-up), excessive use (excepting fair wear and tear), poor installation (including positioning and external fittings such as plumbing, drainage, cabling, antennae), and incompatibility of connected equipment are not covered. Additionally, the warranty does not extend to damage caused by overheating due to inadequate ventilation or protection from excessive dust, if the product has been dismantled, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized personnel. Other exclusions involve damage from power surges, spikes, incorrect power current, voltage or amperage fluctuation, rust, corrosion, dropping or collision of the product, misuse, theft, abuse, vandalism, natural disasters, war-related events, introduction of abnormal heat loads, and more. The warranty further disclaims responsibility for costs related to attendance and testing when no fault or defect covered by the warranty is identified, initial setup and installation, normal maintenance costs, costs incurred through the installation of items requiring periodic replacement, products with removed or altered serial numbers, broken or cracked glass (except for transport damage to the initial point of delivery), consumables like bulbs, seals, filters, batteries, and remote controls, removal and reinstallation of internal components not performed by an authorized Kleenmaid agent or representative, cosmetic or structural items, and failures due to interference from or with other products and/or sources.
