Step 1:

  • The warranty service must be completed by providing your personal, residential, and product information. The product information includes the model number, place and date of purchase, and quantity. Kershaw has no limit for the number of products to be added for the warranty claim.

  • Print two copies of the form either from this webpage or from the subsequent email you'll receive. The model number is located on the rear side of the blade, where it meets the handle. It consists of a four-digit number, occasionally accompanied by letters.

Step 2:

  • The products that are in unused condition are permitted to be returned within thirty days in original packaging with a copy of the receipt received via email and are eligible for a refund of the purchase price. 

  • The customer support and the packing slip provide you with a return authorization number and instructions to initiate the return, respectively. The easy 30-day Money-Back Guarantee never applies to individual products.

  • Refunds for returned items will only be credited to the original credit card used for the purchase. The credit will be processed to the purchasing credit card within 5 to 10 days from the date the return is accepted.

Step 3:

  • Refunds for original delivery fees are applicable only in cases of returns for defective products, inaccurately described products, or incorrect orders.

  • Kershaw has two customer service teams for dealers and customers, and the email addresses are also different. However, the phone number is common for both groups.

  • During the warranty process, Kershaw Knives may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the limited lifetime warranty period.

What is covered under the Kershaw Knives Warranty?

Kershaw knives from Kai USA Ltd. come with a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner unless otherwise specified. This warranty ensures protection against manufacturing defects in material and construction, guaranteeing the knives to perform as advertised when used and maintained properly. The limited lifetime warranty is not transferable, and Kai USA Ltd. retains the right to determine the criteria for normal wear, improper use/maintenance, and modification.

What is NOT covered under the Kershaw Knives Warranty?

The limited lifetime warranty does not cover typical signs of wear, rust, damage, or breakage resulting from improper use, inadequate maintenance, accidents, loss, or theft. This warranty becomes void for products that have undergone any modifications. Additionally, the limited lifetime warranty excludes coverage for the TX Tool, Fire Starter, or Kershaw Oil.
