  • JVC has not had any registration process until now for the majority of the products besides the projector manufactured by them. You can extend the projector warranty for one more year upon registration.

  • Your valid promotional code, issued by the retailer at the point of purchase, serial number, model number of the product purchased, name, address, telephone, and e-mail address should be submitted to qualify for the extended projector warranty.

Step 2:

  • To initiate claims under the guarantee policy, you must go through the authorized dealer from whom you initially purchased the equipment. Remember to present the valid guarantee certificate and the purchase receipt when making a claim.

  • If this proves challenging, for instance, in situations where the original dealer is no longer operational, JVCKENWOOD UK LTD will assist in coordinating arrangements with another authorized JVC dealer.

Step 3:

  • The buyer bears the expense of transportation to and from the JVC dealer/distributor. This guarantee is not transferable and is applicable exclusively to the original purchaser.

  • Two types of support have been provided by the customer support team for consumer and professional products. You can proceed by selecting either option.

  • During the warranty process, JVC may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the 1-year warranty period.

What is covered under the JVC Warranty?

JVCKENWOOD U.K. guarantees this equipment solely through its authorized dealerships, protecting against defects in workmanship or materials of its mechanical and electronic components for a period of one year from the date of purchase. During this timeframe, no charges will apply for labor or replacement parts related to this guarantee for consumer goods. The guarantee certificate remains valid only if the "Model Name and Serial Number," "Date of Purchase," "Dealer's Name and Address," and "Customer's Name and Address" are completed by the dealer selling the unit. In situations where guarantee service is required while the unit is being used in another European country listed in the booklet, contact the JVC distributor in that country initially. The relevant contact information can be found in the appropriate section of this booklet.

What is NOT covered under the JVC Warranty?

The guarantee does not cover damages resulting from accidents, misuse, wear and tear, neglect, improper installation, or use inconsistent with technical and safety standards in a country other than the one of purchase. It also excludes any alterations or adjustments made to the equipment for the purpose of conforming to technical and safety standards in force in another European country. Loss of data due to malfunctions in the hard drive or other storage devices is also not covered. The guarantee does not apply to damage or loss during transit to or from the purchaser or if the serial number plate of the equipment has been removed or altered. The validity of this guarantee is restricted to the United Kingdom or any other countries listed where the equipment is purchased and retained. JVC is not liable for consequential damage, loss, or injury connected to the equipment, except in cases of negligence. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of carriage to and from the JVC dealer/distributor. The guarantee is non-transferable and exclusive to the original purchaser. If the equipment, subject to a claim, complies with the published specifications upon examination, a test fee will be incurred. No dealer has the authority to alter the terms of this guarantee.
