Step 2:

  • Prior booking is required for the repair service of your appliances. Indesit offers you the flexibility to change or cancel the booking plan through the easy service method. You will be directed to the appropriate location once they determine the status of your warranty.

  • Inform them of your warranty status, choose a time that suits you, and they'll assign a dedicated Hotpoint engineer to repair your appliance.

Step 3:

  • You do not have to panic when you contact the customer service team members. You may have queries regarding guidance on products, parts, appliance sales, delivery, new or existing claims, or anything else, and all will be answered.

  • Utilize their automated chat service available 24/7 and reach out to their dedicated live team starting from 7 am on weekdays.

  • During the warranty process, Indesit Appliances may provide you with one of the following solutions: either a warranty replacement or warranty service during the 1-year warranty period.

What is covered under the Indesit Appliances Warranty?

The applicability of your guarantee is limited to the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, contingent upon certain provisions for your appliance. These provisions include ensuring that the appliance has been used strictly in accordance with the instruction manual, properly installed, and connected to an appropriate electrical supply voltage as indicated on the appliance rating plate. Furthermore, the guarantee holds only if the appliance has not been subjected to misuse, accidents, modifications, or repairs by individuals other than their own service engineers. Gas appliances must adhere to the latest gas installation regulations and be installed by a qualified Gas Safe registered installer in Great Britain or an RGII installer in the Republic of Ireland. The guarantee extends to appliances located in the UK, Republic of Ireland, or Channel Islands. It also covers products not in normal domestic use, such as those in an office, provided they are not subject to abnormal use. The company reserves the right to decline repairs under the guarantee if they determine that the usage is abnormal.

What is NOT covered under the Indesit Appliances Warranty?

The guarantee does not cover repairs for breakdowns caused by several factors, including any wilful acts or neglect, accidental damage from foreign objects or substances, failure to comply with the manufacturer's operating instructions, consumer replaceable items or accessories, and cosmetic damage (non-functional parts) that does not affect the normal use of the appliance, such as damage to paintwork, dents, or scratches to the cabinet. Additionally, the guarantee excludes coverage for rust, corrosion, scaling, bacterial deposits, or water damage, routine maintenance, cleaning, overhaul, modification, and descaling. It also does not cover the cleaning or unblocking of filters, drainage systems, or soap drawers, costs arising from problems with the supply of electricity, gas, or water, costs arising from floods, lightning, storms, frosts, or other bad weather, work carried out by a repairer not authorized or approved by the company, any charges incurred for the installation/re-installation of built-in or integrated appliances, and the cost of fitting decor doors and panels to built-in appliances.
