  • The registration form is divided into three sections: contact, product, and purchase. It begins with your name and ends with information about the installer who installed the product at your location. It is your choice to provide the additional information requested by the seller at the end of the form.

Step 2:

  • The serial number of the InSinkErator product informs you whether your product is within or outside of the warranty coverage. You can locate the serial number, which is printed on the gray tag near the bottom of the garbage disposal or instant hot water dispenser tubes where it is affixed.

  • Out of the four digits of the serial number, the first two resemble the year of manufacture, and the second two indicate the month of manufacture. The time duration of the warranty period has to be determined by referring to the installation, care, and use manual.

  • The installation, purchasing, or manufacturing date should be used to determine the warranty coverage of the product.

Step 3:

  • Depending on the serial number, the manufacturer will come to a decision on the commencement date of the warranty period when you don't provide them with the installation or purchase date.

What is covered under the InSinkErator Warranty?

InSinkErator assures customers that their InSinkErator Product will be devoid of any defects in materials and craftsmanship. Should a covered claim arise within the warranty duration, the manufacturer, via its authorized service representative, will undertake either the repair or replacement of the InSinkErator Product.

What is NOT covered under the InSinkErator Warranty?

The warranty does not cover losses or damages, or the inability to operate your InSinkErator Product, stemming from circumstances outside the control of the Manufacturer. These may include but are not limited to, accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence (excluding that of the Manufacturer), failure to install, maintain, assemble, or mount the InSinkErator Product according to the Manufacturer's instructions, or local electrical and plumbing codes. Normal wear and tear, such as cosmetic rust, scratches, dents, or similar losses or damages reasonably anticipated during regular usage, are expected and not covered.
