About Hotpoint

Hotpoint appliances have been engineered to match your level of dedication and hard work. These appliances tackle daily tasks with unwavering commitment. What started over a century ago continues to thrive today, thanks to a brand established by two tenacious inventors who were at the forefront of creating household appliances that people rely on daily. Their unwavering determination played a crucial role in kickstarting the multi-billion dollar electric appliance industry we are familiar with today. In 1965, they introduced the first low-speed agitation clothes washer, revolutionizing laundry by enabling the machine washing of delicate items like lingerie, synthetics, and cashmere sweaters, which had previously required hand washing.
