ITW Food Equipment Group LLC ("ITW FEG") provides a warranty for new Hobart-branded products and certain other products sold by ITW FEG under different brand names, which explicitly refer to this warranty in their specifications or product documentation. This warranty covers the original end-user of the product when the product is installed within the United States. It protects against material and workmanship defects for a period of one year from the date of the original installation. The warranty period should not begin later than three months from the date of the initial delivery of the product to the common carrier by ITW FEG unless there is a prior written agreement with ITW FEG. ITW FEG's sole responsibility under this warranty is to repair or replace, at its discretion, including service and labor, all parts and components found to be defective and covered by this warranty. This warranty is subject to reasonable travel limitations and costs, which are periodically updated by ITW FEG.
Certain parts and components within the products, which are inherently expendable and require frequent replacement, are not included in this warranty. The Owner is solely responsible for any necessary repairs and replacements of these expendable parts, and the associated costs. This warranty is contingent upon ITW FEG being notified of any non-conformity covered by this warranty within thirty (30) days from when the Owner discovers it. This warranty does not extend to damage caused by fire, water, burglary, accidents, abuse, misuse, acts of nature, attempted repairs, or improper installation by unauthorized individuals. Additionally, failure to adhere to the usage, care, or maintenance instructions outlined in the Product's Instruction Manual or any other product documentation provided with the Product will automatically render this warranty void.
